I was moved by my good friend and challenge partner Chris to start to take a look at my health. Yes, last year it was great to get that “You’re doing great,” from the doctor. But that does not give me reason to now do what I want.
In building a business and moving from entrepreneur to successful business owner, there are some things you’d better learn to take care of, including your mind and your body. So this week we are going to talk about bringing sexy back, that is, we will look at some things we need to keep in shape to be able to enjoy successful business when we get there.
Start by making a list of your daily habits. For example, I was drinking four or five espresso shots a day with all the meeting with clients at the coffee shop. Then I fell into the habit of having a few drinks once I was done for the night. Add to that the fact I was eating fast food again. These things by themselves are not a problem. But put them all together, then omit your espresso one day and see how you feel.
If you want to have enough energy for all you want to achieve, you need to get out and take action on a daily basis. This means you are going to have to take care of the body that will get you there.
So my action challenge today is this: make a list of what you do that you know is not healthy. Include how many times daily or weekly you do these things. Then make a list of how you feel after you’ve done them.
I recall my days of wild parties and the next day the feeling was not all that great. Well that feeling is a reaction to what I did the night before. So if you want to have more energy, let’s see what we can remove to get the energy you need.
Get ready to bring sexy back, in both your body and your mind.
