I just got back from the Success Freaks’ Level Up Your Life conference. It was a wonderful event with some great experts sharing things from the stage that we all need to hear to be successful.
One of the things that impacted me most was when Mordant talked about his days of game playing. He shared that when he started to put it aside to focus more on personal growth, he did not have the time to “level up” his gaming characters anymore because he was leveling up himself.
After hearing that, along with the fact that we will have Bob Donnell from Next Level Live on our radio show this week, tells me we need to devote this week’s blogs to the question, “What is our next level?”
The process of growth, whether business to personal, is a journey that takes more than a weekend event to do. We must always be in pursuit of a dream or vision to grow. The problem we all have is we look at the big picture in that vision and then look at our true selves in the mirror and we lose the belief that we can ever reach such a great, honorable vision.
To get to any goal, you must take it a step or a level at a time. So what is the next level you are working towards right now? As I arrived back home and reflected on this, I know the next level I am reaching for right now is my goal of sharing with so many audiences this summer while finishing another book.
On the plane today I wrote another chapter to the next RockStar book. I have a big goal to write 14 books in one year. But to get there I need to first get two books done in a year. That is the current year’s goal and it’s the next level towards reaching that ultimate goal.
This year we are working on establishing a monthly mastermind. This week marks event number six with an ultimate goal of completing 12 this year. It’s a level up from what I did with this company last year. Step by step I am working those goals to reach an ultimate goal in my business.
So as we touch on the subject of next level this week, think about where you are in reaching a goal you have, then question, “What is the next level I need to be working on to get to that ultimate goal?” Get ready for another Rockin’ good week.
